Compare and Connect, one of Australia’s leading utility connection and comparison platforms, has appointed News Xtend as its digital marketing agency.
Compare and Connect has recently appointed News Xtend as its digital marketing agency.
Compare and Connect provides an accessible and resourceful one-stop platform for people to make informed decisions about a range of different services – including gas and electricity plans, and telecommunication services such as broadband and moving services.
Compare and Connect provides clients with free, quick and easy end-to-end solutions.
Compare and Connect founder and CEO Neil Saligrama said: “Compare and Connect is establishing a direct consumer brand, enabling unique digital experiences to all its consumers and has partnered with News Xtend to facilitate its objectives.
“The broader approach adopted by News Xtend enables Compare and Connect to reach a wider audience via social, Google, print and affiliate marketing.”
News Xtend’s connection to NewsCorp Australia was seen as an advantage.
News Xtend “is uniquely positioned in the market because it has massive backing, however the approach is quite fresh and unique,” Mr Saligrama said.
Compare and Connect were after a package that offered an omni-channel approach.
“We found News Xtend to be the best fit to our business,” Mr Saligrama said.
“Their agility and openness to work made all the difference.
“Apart from their capabilities, which was par excellence, they are very much a relationship driven business and we really loved that.”
Having the perfect combination of products was important to Compare and Connect.
Being able to find an agency that allowed them to create a custom package of digital products was one of the deciding factors for choosing News Xtend.
Mr Saligrama explained: “We endeavour spending over $5m with News Xtend over the next couple of years, hence it was quite important to choose the right partner.”
Having partnered with various other agencies in the past, Compare and Connect found they weren’t being delivered the promised results.
“We have big plans and our approach is quite wide because we play across many industries,” Mr Saligrama said.
“We found the News Xtend team has a diversified knowledge, to understand our problems and challenges, to help us through this process.”
With plans to transition the business to an initial public offering, it was imperative to partner with an agency that understood the needs and wants of a business, he said.
”News Xtend is playing a critical part in helping us achieve our goals,” Mr Saligrama said.
